Join EmbraceRace and child psychologist Dr. Allison Briscoe-Smith to discuss the challenges the Trump Era has brought to raising caring, inclusive kids and keeping them safe.
Tuesday, Feb 28, 2017
6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Register: http://bit.ly/2mHuBCn
You can also register for the recording if you can’t make the live webinar.
The webinar will provide guidance on these and other questions: How do we help the kids in our lives through their fears, their anger, their questions and their concerns in this turbulent time? How do we help them, and ourselves, keep sight of the humanity of those we profoundly disagree with in the midst of deportations, bans, and amped-up political and social conflict?
Dr. Allison Briscoe-Smith was one of the contributors to TalkToKids.net – a guide EJS launched in November to help adults and parents talk with children about the hate speech.
TalkToKids.net is the result of a collaboration between academics, pollsters, psychologists, lawyers, and activists to aid adults on how to talk to children to minimize the harmful effect of the hate that continues to brew in our country.
Please check out tonight’s 6 p.m. PT webinar (http://bit.ly/2mHuBCn) with EmbraceRace and Dr. Allison Briscoe-Smith. And visit our guide at http://talktokids.net.
